Privacy

Last updated 2 September 2026

The short version. Marquee is a small film-night app. There are no ads, no trackers, no analytics, and nothing is sold or shared with advertisers. Most of what you do stays on your own device unless you create a crew, which syncs so your friends can see it.

What is NOT collected

Who can see your crew data

A crew is addressed by its invite code. Anyone who has that invite link can open the crew and see its member names, watchlist, votes and chat. Treat an invite link like a house key: share it only with people you want in the crew. If a link leaks, delete the crew and start a new one — that changes the code.

Children

Marquee is not directed at children under 13, and accounts should not be created by them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the update is noted on the site.
