Four young Germans describe what isolation actually feels like day to day: a new student in Freiburg who knows nobody, a nineteen-year-old whose left-wing politics leave her out of place in Cottbus, an influencer who is never offline and never in company, and a man living with depression. The film gives each of them room enough that their contradictions stay unresolved.
