Wolf children in Lithuania - The forgotten orphans of World War Two | DW Documentary

Luise was four when she fled Königsberg for Lithuania at the end of World War Two, given a Lithuanian name and forbidden from speaking German as she begged and worked for food alone. The film recovers the largely undocumented history of East Prussia's 'wolf children,' orphans too young to be Nazis but treated as German enough to be blamed for the regime's crimes anyway.
