In 1950s Japan, an American woman visiting with her military husband wanders off from the group and meets Namiko, a young ama pearl diver, and something unspoken passes between them. The short picked up prizes at Saint-Maur, Olonne and the MUP festival, plus a queer-fest selection that hints at what the encounter actually is.
