Escape from Syria: Rania's odyssey

Rania Mustafa Ali filmed her own escape from the ruins of Kobane to Austria, and director Anders Hammer builds this film from that footage: smugglers, teargas at the Macedonian border, a boat built for 15 people carrying 52. It is a refugee crossing told from inside it, camera in the hand of the person making the crossing.
