A black marketeer working the edges of a US military camp town tries to talk his younger brother into going home, not realising the woman he plans to marry has already fallen for the brother instead. Betrayal, a raid on a supply train and a knife by the riverbank settle things in this 1958 melodrama, shot in the camptowns it depicts.
