A biographical drama that follows Kim Gu from a young rebel fleeing Japanese troops to the exiled leader directing Korea's independence movement from Shanghai, including the planning of Yun Bong-gil's Hongkou Park attack. Three decades of underground resistance and prison terms close with a 1945 homecoming its subject would not enjoy for long.
