의적 일지매(1961) / Iljimae the Chivalrous Robber (Uijeok Iljimae)

Orphaned by a corrupt minister's conspiracy, a young nobleman becomes the plum-blossom-marking bandit Iljimae, robbing crooked officials to feed the poor while hunting for the fiancee he lost as a child. The chase across disguises, bought offices and a minister's household builds to a reveal that costs Iljimae the one reunion he has been after all film.
