Seong Chun-hyang ( Seong Chun-hyang ) Restoration Version

A magistrate's son falls for a low-born beauty who reads and paints better than she flirts, marries her in secret the night before he is called back to the capital, and leaves her at the mercy of the corrupt official who replaces his father. She refuses the new magistrate and is jailed and beaten for it, so it falls to a royal inspector in disguise to arrive at exactly the right moment.
