아까시아 꽃잎필 때(1962) / When Acacias Bloom ( Acacia Kkochi Ppil Ttae )

A woman lays flowers on the same grave every year when the acacias bloom, and the film goes back to 1942 to explain it: an Allied agent guiding a hunted Korean independence fighter toward Chongqing, and falling for him on the road. He loses the documents he was carrying, and her reprieve reaches the firing squad a few minutes too late.
