남과 북(1964) / The North and South (Namgwa Buk)

A North Korean major defects south hoping to reunite with the woman he left behind during the war, only to discover from a photograph that she is now married to the very officer questioning him. Both men insist on stepping aside for the other, and the film resolves their standoff the way a war story like this one tends to: with one more death nobody asked for.
