이층집 새댁(1968) / A Bride on the Second Floor (I-Cheungjip Saedaek) (1980)

A newly married woman moves into her husband's traditional household determined to modernize everything from the furniture to the family dinner table, and runs straight into her mother-in-law's flat refusal. Her father-in-law, who has a soft spot for modern conveniences himself, quietly takes her side, and the house comes around to her way of doing things by the end.
