카인의 후예(1968) / Descendants of Cain(Cain-ui Huye) (1968)

In a northern village the year after liberation, a landlord's son watches the family's tenant overseer turn Party informer and seize his land under the new order, while the overseer's daughter risks everything to stay loyal to him anyway. Director Yu Hyun-mok stages the land reform as a slow-closing trap, ending in a fistfight in the woods that decides who gets to leave for the South.
