삼포가는 길(1975) / The Road to Sampo (Sampoganeun gil)

A drifting construction worker falls in with an older ex-convict walking home to the fishing village he left ten years ago, and on a snowbound road the two pick up a runaway barmaid neither of them can quite let go of. The three come apart at a railway station short of the village, where the older man learns the island he has been walking toward has already been dredged and built over.
