THE AVON LADY | Omeleto

A 65-year-old Chilean immigrant takes up door-to-door Avon sales to sharpen her English and earn a little extra money, fumbling through pitches and hostile dogs until an eccentric neighbor teaches her how to sell with confidence. Based on the director's own mother, the comedy turns a string of small humiliations into an unexpectedly triumphant second act.
