A street kid surviving 1970s Shiraz on his own wits finds an unlikely companion in a stray dog while trying to keep his sick father supplied with medicine. Told without a line of dialogue, this animated short refuses a tidy happy ending, letting the boy's loyalty to his dog carry what hope survives.
