Returning to Australia after a decade away, Jack finds a country where citizens film and report each other's minor infractions to a government app, alcohol is banned, and even swearing gets fined, and he can't accept it the way his brother has. Shot with a bright, cheerful surface that undercuts its own premise, it plays as a satire set just a few steps from where phone culture already sits.
