Beirut, 1982: a man about to flee the city's civil war gets pulled into protecting a teenager who is determined to reach the swimming pool no matter the shelling outside. Rubika's 2021 class won the top student prize at SIGGRAPH 2022 for turning a kid's stubbornness into an act of defiance.
