On a nighttime battlefield, a soldier's decision to spare a wounded enemy instead of executing him sets off a chain reaction that gets nearly everyone involved killed by morning. Rubika's 2023 second-year students stage the whole tragedy through a handful of silent, badly-timed choices rather than exposition.
